Effective for local release version 1.0.0. “Stillguard” below means the Android application. “Website” means the static introduction at the site root and this privacy-policy route. “Publisher” means the party that will lawfully control any future store listing or public website deployment.
01 · The threshold
Scope of this policy
This policy covers the behavior of the Stillguard Android app and the two static pages supplied with its local release package. It does not cover an app store, device operating system, browser, hosting company, crisis service, linked public resource, or any future feature that is not present in this release.
The website included in the package is deployable but is not represented here as already live. A future publisher or host may have its own terms and privacy practices.
02 · Who it is for
Intended audience
Stillguard is designed as a general educational reflection tool for adults. It is not designed for clinical assessment, treatment, crisis monitoring, workplace supervision, school administration, or the independent use of children.
Using the app does not create a patient, client, counselor, responder, or service-recipient relationship with ARMOR THE MIND, the app publisher, or any source named in the app.
03 · A modest purpose
What Stillguard is for
Stillguard offers app-authored prompts for noticing a difficult moment, choosing an anchor, adjusting internal language, selecting one next step, and optionally saving a short private reflection. It does not diagnose, predict, grade, or verify mental-health conditions.
The organization information presented in the app is limited to a verified public-record summary and a clear explanation of what remains unknown. The creative experience is not evidence of official organizational programs or endorsement.
04 · What enters the app
Information the app collects
The app does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, account, birthday, payment information, organization membership, precise location, contacts, photos, audio, or advertising identifier.
When you use the Shelter builder, the app processes the weather label and cards you select. If you choose to type a note, the app also processes that note on the device so it can display and save the Shelter you requested.
05 · The Cabinet
Local shelter stacks and notes
A saved Shelter contains the selected weather label, the identifiers of three chosen practice cards, an optional note, and a local creation time. These values are stored in the app’s private preferences area on the device.
The app does not include a server, synchronization feature, cloud account, export workflow, or in-app sharing control. Android backup is disabled for this app, and its data-extraction rules exclude the local preferences store.
06 · Handle notes carefully
Sensitive and health information
Stillguard is not a medical-record system and does not ask for health history, diagnosis, medication, treatment, insurance, biometrics, or crisis details. An optional note is free text, so you control what you enter.
Avoid recording information that you would not want another person with access to your unlocked device to see. Do not use the note field to report an emergency or request help; the app does not monitor notes.
07 · No sensor doorway
Device permissions
This release declares no permission for internet access, precise or approximate location, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, phone, SMS, notifications, nearby devices, advertising identifiers, or external media storage.
The operating system necessarily provides ordinary app capabilities such as drawing the interface and writing the private local preferences needed for a saved Shelter.
08 · No identity layer
Accounts and authentication
Stillguard has no registration, sign-in, profile, password, social login, organization login, age verification, or account-recovery feature. Saved Shelters belong to the local app installation rather than a person identified on a remote service.
Uninstalling the app removes its ordinary app data according to Android behavior. Because no account exists, there is no remote account to close.
09 · No attention market
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The Android app contains no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, behavioral-tracking SDK, attribution SDK, social SDK, crash-reporting upload SDK, or in-app purchase and billing SDK. It does not build an advertising profile or follow activity across apps or sites.
The packaged website contains no analytics script, ad tag, tracking pixel, remote font, social embed, cookie banner, or marketing form. If a future publisher adds any such technology, this policy must be updated before that version is made available.
10 · Offline app, hosted page boundary
Network and offline behavior
The Android app does not declare internet permission and its core content, images, builder, Cabinet, and policy context are packaged locally. It does not fetch updates, contact ARMOR THE MIND, look up crisis resources, send notes, or verify current conditions.
A visitor must use a network to reach a publicly hosted website. A host may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details, requested path, and timestamps under the host’s own practices. The local website ZIP itself does not implement collection or transmission logic.
12 · Return clay to clay
Retention, deletion, and erase-all
A saved Shelter remains in the local app preferences until you delete that Shelter, use the two-step “Erase the entire Cabinet” control, clear the app’s storage through Android settings, or uninstall the app.
Because the app does not receive a remote copy, the publisher has no server-side Shelter or note to retrieve or delete. Website image and page files remain part of the static deployment until the publisher changes or removes that deployment.
13 · Family boundary
Children and family use
Stillguard is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It contains no child account, classroom roster, parent dashboard, messaging, or age-targeted advertising.
A parent or guardian who chooses to explore the educational content with a young person should remain present, avoid entering identifying or health details, and use qualified human support for distress, safety concerns, or care decisions.
14 · The device is part of the shelter
Security and device responsibility
Android app-private storage provides separation from ordinary access by other apps, but no device is risk-free. Someone who can unlock, administer, compromise, or back up your device may be able to access app data through device-level capabilities.
Use a device passcode, install trusted system updates, control shared-device access, and avoid sensitive detail in optional notes. Stillguard does not add its own encryption password or biometric lock.
15 · Your choices
User choices and controls
You may browse without saving, leave the note blank, change any selected practice before saving, delete one saved Shelter, erase all saved Shelters, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. The app does not penalize any of these choices.
There is no consent setting for analytics or advertising because those systems are not included. There is no notification control because this release does not request notification permission or schedule reminders.
16 · Beyond the app
External resources and crisis limits
Stillguard names public educational and crisis resources for context, but the Android app does not open, control, or monitor an external service. Availability, confidentiality, routing, and response are governed by those services and current conditions.
Stillguard cannot assess safety. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. For immediate danger or a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. Outside the U.S., use the current crisis and emergency resources for your location.
17 · If behavior changes
Policy changes
This policy should change when the app or website behavior changes—not merely when wording is polished. A future release that adds network access, accounts, permissions, analytics, crash uploads, external forms, payments, messaging, or another data practice requires a corresponding review and policy update before release.
The effective version should be shown on the deployed policy and aligned with the version actually distributed.
18 · Publisher-controlled detail
Contact and publisher details
No verified publisher-controlled privacy email or support channel was supplied for this local package. This page therefore does not invent one or redirect questions to an unrelated person.
Before public website deployment or store publication, the lawful publisher should add a current privacy contact, identify the publisher where legally required, and confirm that this policy still matches the exact distributed app and chosen hosting environment.
